Rockwell City Rotary Club has once again teamed up with Mid American Energy employee volunteers on a project. MAE employees straightened and reinforced and added a new solar street light to the “Welcome to Rockwell City” sign on N 1st Street, that was originally a Rotary Grant project. Some Rotarians assisted with this and others painted the posts and boards to help revitalize the sign.

The Rotary sponsored “Back To School Picnic” during the Elementary Open House has been deemed a success. We served somewhere near 350 meals. Thanks to all that stopped by and ate! Thanks to all Rotarians and Luke from Fareway for helping.
Rockwell City Rotary Club applied for and was awarded a 50-50 matching grant from Rotary District 5970 to purchase 6- 3D printers and supplies for the SCC Middle School. The printers and supplies were delivered to Mr. Marcus Feldhans on Friday. Mr Feldhans hopes to have them assembled and ready for use when school begins.

Each year Rockwell City Rotary Club awards up to four $250 Scholarships to SCC High School Seniors. For the Class of 2024, the recipients were 2 children of Rotarians, Arlyn Legore, daughter of Carl and Yuri Legore (both Rotarians) and Madi Smidt, daughter of Aaron and Kelly(Rotarian) Smidt, and Adrianna McCusker (SCC Interact Club), daughter of Amanda Koccour, and Chloe Judisch (SCC Interact Club) daughter of Dr. Jon and Rachel Judisch. CONGRATULATIONS ladies!
