Club Projects
The Rockwell City Rotary Club has an accomplished history of successful club projects.
Our mission is to serve our community and to also reach globally in our service to others.
New Signage on Hwy 20 - this project was cooperative with Rockwell City Revitalization.
The RC Rotary Club provides dictionaries to the South Central Calhoun Elementary Students in grade 3 each year.
Construction of diapers is an ongoing project which creates multiple benefits.
We accept used t-shirts, which are cut to make up diapers for our ShoeBox project. Club members, local seamstresses and youth 4H Club members sew the diapers. The t-shirt scraps are donated to Opportunity Living where the scraps are turned into rags for use at a local business.
This is a great recycling project that spans multiple age groups and benefactors.
Kid's Kingdom and the Rockwell City Park have benefited from many donations of the Rockwell City Rotary Club.
The RC Rotary Club provided FREE watermelon at Sweet Corn Daze, an annual community event in August on the Rockwell City square.
Ditch clean up - vital to keeping our countryside beautiful.
The RC Rotary Club 2016-17 Foundation Grant Project in cooperation with the Rockwell City Chamber - Welcome sign for posting on Ogden Ave North of Rockwell City.
Rotary’s 2017 Project:
With the renovations of the Courthouse Square we worked towards purchasing new permanent trash receptacles to be placed on the Rockwell City Downtown Square.
The heavy duty trash receptacles work great to keep the square neat and tidy, while representing Rotary in the Rockwell City Community!

Rotary’s 2017 & 2018 Project:
Updating the flower beds while planting and caring for the flowers is one of the new projects for our Rotary Club, we have also been able to add permanent concrete edging to the beauty of the park.
Our 2018 focus is to add more curbing and to renovate the stone bird bath as well as adding more perennial plantings.
